Monday, June 19 - Friday, June 23RRH Youth Camp!!
Open to riders under 18 and all levels, disciplines of riding. Day camp prices $450 with two rides a day Monday through Friday, June 19 - 23. Other acitivites such as swimming, hiking, getting to know the hounds, and arts/crafts are included. Overnight camping options are available. Please contact Angela (see contact below) for more information. $200 non refundable deposit per person due by June 1.
Saturday & Sunday, June 24-25Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby
This event has become an incredible opportunity to see great riders and horses come from all around to compete right here on our own home turf. RRH has a table for both days and seats will be available for Saturday's 3' National Derby Class on a first come, first serve basis.
Sunday's Patron's Table is held for our landowners to come and see the hounds as we parade them prior to the International Hunter Derby! Horses available for lease for the hound demonstration and we welcome help on the ground as well!
Our own Kate Doyle has volunteered again to host lunch as a tailgate so please RSVP to Angela (see contact below) if want to be included.
ALL our YOUTH riders from camp are invited to join us for this incredible day on foot or horseback and we encourage their families to attend!
Friday, June 30RRH Adult Camp Kickoff Cocktail Party on the lawn at the ranch house at Ross Creek.
Friday, June 30 - Wednesday, July 5RRH Adult Camp 2017
Adult camp participants will school in the ring, on the trails, over cross country fences, etc. twice daily from Saturday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 5. We will take a break and haul horses and hounds to the famous Virginia City for the parade and party on Tuesday, July 4. $400 per person includes all the riding, horse for 4th of July and lunches at the ranch. Boarding available if you chose to bring your own horse. RV spots also available. Lodging and dinners not included in this price.

Hopefully our ring will be up and running and we can clinic, host a show and have a landowners BBQ and Puppy party in preparation for a great 2017 - 2018 season! Details and dates to follow.

August 1Conditioning of Horses and Riders for the Season
Friday, September 8Staff Hound Exercises/Hunting Begins
8 AM. Jeans and polos acceptable*, ROSS CREEK. Hounds will go out from Ross Creek every Wednesday, Friday, Sunday with staff for two weeks through Friday, Sept 22. Time may change based on weather. Members and guests are welcome to join, but please be courteous and patient as the staff gets organized and puppies are introduced. Breakfasts will be brown bag.
Tentative, September ???Staff Joint Hunt Weekend with Huntsman and Staff Members from North Hills, Tejon, Cloudline and other hunts. More details to follow!
Sunday, September 24Cub Hunting Begins
Ross Creek 8 AM - Informal attire requested. Breakfast schedule rotation begins.
Friday-Sunday, October 6-8Hunting at the Cottonwood Ranch, O'Neill Basin, NV
Joint Meet with Big Sky Hounds, Formal Attire planned, but bring a white or red polo in case of heat!

TBAThere will be a Pacific District Performance Hound Trial, Joint Meet and Hunter Trial for horses this season as well sponsored by the MFHA and it's new leadership to promote the development of strong hunting relationships between our "local hunts" and their membership! Details will be published as soon as dates and locations are finalized and we encourage everyone to participate in as many of these as you can!
